MotorWeek has gathered the contemporary crop of muscle cars for a showdown to find out who is really great among the big 8s.
The Coyote V8 comes in on the bottom rung of the power poll, 435 hp to the Camaro’s 455 and the Challenger’s 485 ponies.
The Mustang was loved for it’s nimble nature on track and made a strong case for being the most enjoyable car of the bunch.
Despite that, they crucified the Mustang for being a bit mild compared to the other two– Ford clearly focused on everyday usability vs Chevy’s persuit of the ultimate performer.
The comparisons can say what they want, but in the sales race Mustang is still king.
