After revealing the refreshed 2018 Ford Mustang coupe at the Detroit Auto Show, the American automaker has followed up by debuting the new convertible model.
Unfortunately, in typical Ford fashion, the automaker has not revealed any relevant information on the convertible besides what we already know about the new coupe. That means the convertible will get all the upgrades the coupe gets, including goodies like a new digital dashboard, more safety and driver assistance features, an optional dual-mode exhaust setup, and upgraded EcoBoost four-cylinder and V8 engines. The V6 engine has also been dropped from the lineup, and the droptops will also get a 10-speed automatic option.
Since there’s no other new information to share like the 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible’s weight, how much time it takes for the top to go up/down and up to which speeds the top can be operated at, we’re left looking at the only other photo Ford provided:
