1968 Pro-touring Mustang

Here is my 68 Mustang. My dad bought it in 93 for me as a first car. I did not want it. I was 15 and could care less about working on an old junky Mustang. I wanted a new one. We bought it for 300 bucks in Southern California. It had been sitting for 6 years in a field in Crestline Cal. To make a long story short we worked on it for nine months and got it on the road. It was very nice when we finished it the first time and I used it for a daily driver.
We then moved to Kansas City and then realized that i could not take an orignal black plate California car and put it in the salt that they use here in the winter. I parked it and got a second car to drive. That is when i started redoing the car to bring it to its present state. I was lucky to be in touch with Julio Mayen owner of JME Enterpises at the time when he was selling his wheels.

AFM: "This car definitely deserves a place in our Featured Rides section, not just because of its looks, but because the dedication of it's owner".
