Here is my 68 Mustang. My dad bought it in 93 for me as a first car. I
did not want it. I was 15 and could care less about working on an old
junky Mustang. I wanted a new one. We bought it for 300 bucks in Southern
California. It had been sitting for 6 years in a field in Crestline Cal.
To make a long story short we worked on it for nine months and got it
on the road. It was very nice when we finished it the first time and I
used it for a daily driver.
We then moved to Kansas City and then realized that i could not take an
orignal black plate California car and put it in the salt that they use
here in the winter. I parked it and got a second car to drive. That is
when i started redoing the car to bring it to its present state. I was
lucky to be in touch with Julio Mayen owner of JME Enterpises at the time
when he was selling his wheels.
My
car is now only driven only about 3,000 miles a year on nice days. It is
a blast to drive with the suspension, brakes and engine combo that the car
has now.
