CGS Motorsports has been in business since 1995 turning production models into souped-up vehicles. At this year's SEMA Show, which will be taking place this November in Las Vegas, the Southern California-based tuners, who specialize in performance intakes and exhaust systems, will be unveiling their latest creation, the 2010 CGS Motorsports "FlatBack" Mustang.
CGS just released the above artist's rendering of the FlatBack, and they've also let people know what's going into the car. The FlatBack will have a matte gray metallic paint job with gloss black graphics that covers a Roush body kit. The car sits on 22-inch Colorado Custom wheels (which are a one-off design for this car) equipped with Pirelli tires. Behind those wheels are Baer racing brakes and a KW coil-over suspension. Under the hood is the traditional 4.6-liter V8 mill that's been outfitted with a Whipple supercharger. And, to make sure the ride is comfortable, you'll be sitting in custom-made seats from Recaro.
We'll have to wait until November to see the finished product, but with a laundry list of the best aftermarket parts available going into the FlatBack, things are looking good.
