Well, the 2010 NASCAR Ford Mustang is not the prettiest vehicle to ever hit the track. And to be honest, aside from the front grille and the Shelby-inspired stripes, there's not too much relation between the NASCAR Mustang and the iconic pony car that is sitting in dealerships across the country. When the plans were first announced, one of the goals of the NASCAR Mustang was to separate Ford's field of racers from the rest of the pack. And it's certainly done that.
According to Ford Racing's press release, the NASCAR Mustang will be in a "limited roll-out" during the 2010 racing season so that it can get a thorough shake down before it replaces all the current Ford cars. While there has been no date specified, one would imagine that the 2011 season will be when the NASCAR Mustang fully rolled out.
