If you're in the market for a 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang, then you better sign up now, because the price is probably going to go up. A document from Ford's dealer ordering system surfaced online (pictured below) that indicates that there will only be 2,000 Shelby GT500s produced for the 2010 model year. This limited supply will likely drive up prices for the GT500 by a fair margin and also cement the 2010 Shelby's status as a collectors item. In case you can't read it, here's the pertinent text from the document: "Production cut on Shelby GT500. To date, 1,700 Shelby GT500s have not been scheduled and the plant only has capacity to build 2,000 for the 2010 MY. If you signed the agreement, you are only guaranteed 1 Shelby GT500 for this model year."
