Primo Drifter extraordinaire, Vaughn Gittin Jr., moseyed into the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, buckled up, and in fast order set the record for the world’s longest drift aboard a 2010 Mustang GT.
The previous long drift was 4,137 feet, but Gittin made an amazing run of 6,285 feet which translates into a drift of 1.19 miles.
And how hard is a world record drift on tires. Well Gittin used a set of tough Falken Azenis ST-155 tires.
The rubber lasted a little over two minutes before completely running out of tread!
