Those waiting for the rollout of the Camaro may get antsy and flee to the Mustang or Challenger if the bankruptcy of one of GM’s main suppliers continues to drag on.
General Motors has sued Cadence Innovation, and now the outcome of the lawsuit may be the determining factor in whether or not the Camaro will arrive on time. GM was originally planning on putting the Camaro into production in February of 2010, but Cadence’s bankruptcy has disrupted the process and GM claims that the supplier is holding a number of necessary parts "hostage" that could delay the car.
It seems the fates are once again not playing into GM’s favor.
