What happens when an award-winning Automotive Designer teams up with a leader in manufacturing “limited edition” high performance vehicles? Well, we don’t have to guess, because Chip Foose of Foose Design and Unique Performance have teamed up to deliver the 2006 Foose “Stallion” Mustang, which is quickly becoming one of the most sought after “limited edition” Mustangs of the year.
While production Foose Mustangs will not be available until the summer of 2006, this “Stallion” has been an outstanding success from its onset. The first coupe (pre-production car) was auctioned for a staggering $167, 400 at the 2006 Barrett-Jackson Auction to a private collector. Next up, Sam’s Club (Wal-Marts warehouse division) held an online auction, open only to its members, for the right to purchase the first production coupe. The winning bid rang in at $81, 200. If that wasn’t enough to solidify its ever increasing popularity, BF Goodrich is set to give away a customized edition of the Foose Mustang during the NBA All Star Game in Houston on February 19, 2006.
So why is this custom masterpiece being dubbed the “The World's Hottest Mustang”? Here’s a few reasons this “Stallion” stands out from the pack:
With all the excitement and enthusiasm that surrounds the 2006 Foose “Stallion” Mustang, it’s hard to believe it only has a MSRP of $42,000. That’s quite a bargain for a car that’s destined to become an instant collectible.
