American Idol winner stars in new Ford Mustang commercial

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks has just released his new single, but he's not done yet.

The Birmingham crooner is the star of a new commercial that began airing on June 15th. The television ad is for Ford and Taylor performs the song "Possibilities" and dances also. The new commercials are part of Ford's "Drive On Us" 2006 campaign which offers zero-percent financing on Ford vehicles.

Hicks also received a new Ford Mustang on the American Idol finale. He said its the first convertible he's ever owned.
