Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Will Take Final Checker at Miller Motorsports Park
After three seasons, the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge will run its final round Sept. 12 at the course that started it all, Miller Motorsports Park. The park announced earlier this week that the series, created in partnership with Ford Racing and sponsored by BFGoodrich Tires, would not continue past this season.

Stenhouse Jr. Leads Mustang Nationwide Debut With Podium Finish At Daytona

Drift King Gittin Designs Classic Mustang For SEMA
Formula Drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. is taking his design skills to SEMA, and to gaming consoles everywhere. Fresh from the success of his RTR 2010 Mustangs, Gittin is working his magic on a 1969 Mustang. The RTR-X will be unveiled at SEMA 2010, and feature in upcoming “Need for Speed” video games. “I have now taken the RTR brand full-circle back to 1969 - turning a ‘69 Mustang into a radical street/drift-styled machine to debut at SEMA 2010,” he says in his Speedhunters.com post where, apparently, he’ll be blogging right through the process.

Gittin Jr. Drifts Into Second At Road Atlanta, Tops Standings
With Round 2 of the Formula Drift championship in the books, Mustang drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. stepped up to the podium for the second time this season, in second place at Road Atlanta, and secured the No. 1 spot overall May 8.

2011 Mustang GT Will Pace Daytona 500 Field
It’s official. Ford announced today the 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 will be the pace car for the Nascar season-opener, marking the first time in 40 years the Blue Oval has lead the pack at the Daytona 500 and the Mustang’s debut performance in the role. And before the car even hits the track, Barrett-Jackson will auction the car to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

NASCAR Nationwide Mustang Unveiled by Ford, Roush Fenway Racing and Conway Freight
