Mustang Owners Join The Fight Against Autism
The All Ford Mustangs Show and Shine Oct. 2 was, by all accounts, a great time for participants and visitors alike, with some of Newfoundland’s greatest original pony cars filling Bowring Park. But as much fun as it was, it wasn’t the best part of the event. That came a couple of weeks later, when a group of NL Mustang members got together for their regular Sunday cruise and rolled on over to the Elaine Dobbin Autism Centre in St. John’s.

SEMA Steaming With Mustang Heat
Ford Motor Company has chosen the years biggest auto show to showcase not only the new Boss 302, but nine new, custom interpretations of the iconic Mustang. The 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas starts Nov. 2. Ford made the announcement Oct. 27.

Second Place In Round 7 Gives Vaughn Gittin Jr. 2010 Formula Drift Championship
Working through a banner year, drift king Vaughn Gittin Jr. went into Round 7 of the Formula Drift Professional Championship with high hopes of putting himself on the podium one last time. Not only did Vaughn accomplish that goal, taking second place at Irwindale Speedway -- his sixth podium out of seven rounds -- but he clinched the official 2010 Formula Drift Champion title and as the Driver of the Year in the Monster Energy Falken Tire 2011 Ford Mustang.

5.0 Mustang Magazine and AmericanMuscle Crown King Of The Street
If you're looking for bragging rights, having someone slap you with a "King of the Street" title works pretty good. That's something 5.0 Mustang editors Steve Turner, Mike Johnson, and KJ Jones and the power-mad folks at AmericanMuscle set out to do Friday at Bowling Green, KY. There was serious Mustang muscle on hand -- more than 7,000 horsepower worth -- and six catagories of competition used to crown the king: Ride & Drive, Horsepower, Fit & Finish, Engineering, Drag Race and, of course, Popular Vote.
