2008 Ford Events Schedule
2008 promises to be another banner year for Ford Mustang events and while the season is yet to begin, here is a short list of events already scheduled for 2008.

Fun Ford Weekend events take place at the nation's prime Ford markets with 10 events in 2007. The Fun Ford Weekend Series is a festival of exciting Ford power featuring Heads-Up and Open Comp drag racing classes along with Bracket racing classes.

John Force Suffers Serious Injuries
John Force, driver of the Castrol GTX Mustang, was involved in an accident in his second round race against Kenny Bernstein in the NHRA race in Dallas. After the wreck, Force was awake and talking but suffered serious leg and hand injuries.

NASCAR Busch Series Pony Cars Are Coming !
NASCAR hopes to inject new life into its Busch Series by changing the types of cars raced, beginning as early as 2009, according to multiple sources familiar with the project.
If plans go according to schedule, the next-generation Busch Series cars will be Chevrolet Camaros, Dodge Challengers, Ford Mustangs and an as-yet-to-be named Toyota model, sources said.
