The tuner kings at AmericanMuscle have sent out a teaser for the tuner who likes to squeeze the most from his or her Ford Mustang. Many owners know the best way to optimize any upgrade to your new Mustang ... say, a new exhaust, or cold air intake ... is an upgrade to your car’s brain, the power control module.

American Muscle wants its customers, street and track, to know this, too. As an aftermarket reseller of tuning system hardware by SCT Performance, the company has always provided “free tunes for life” for its customers in the Mustang enthusiast community. It’s time, the company says, to take it to the next level.

Steve Voudouris, President of AmericanMuscle, was a bit mysterious in revealing what’s coming down the road next week.  “Let’s just say that we’ve got a big announcement coming up on Tuesday, March 9th - and it’s going to fundamentally change the way that our friends and clients in the performance Mustang community view custom tunes.

“We are truly excited about this development,” continued Voudouris, “and think that everyone will be pleasantly surprised when the details are released.”

As the 2010 track season prepares to kick off, Mustang owners and drivers are buzzing about what the upcoming announcement means.  Even minor horsepower and torque gains can mean the difference between winning and losing, especially when the winners and losers are separated by mere fractions of a second.

A precision custom tune might just make that difference, but the muscle car world will have to wait a few more days until AmericanMuscle unwraps this late holiday gift.

Founded in 2003, AmericanMuscle.com has raced to the top of the market as the leading Mustang aftermarket parts retailer, with more than 500,000 customers to date. A true innovator in e-commerce, AmericanMuscle.com employs more than 110 staff at its 165,000 square foot facility in Malvern, PA (approximately 20 miles west of Philadelphia).
