1965 Mustangs on the Big Screen

It's a bit of whimsy but after thinking about the 44th birthday of the Mustang, I got thinking about how in some of the older movies we could see the early Mustangs in action.

Sure, it is possible to see them in the here and now with restorations and early Stangs that have been pampered over the years. But there is nothing like good old popular culture such as the movies to let us see how things used to be.

Some of the movies were contemporary with the first Mustangs and others showed a little nostalgia for those first ponies.

The 1965 Mustang starred in a lot of movies. Below are two lists compiled from online sources of movies in which the 1965 Ford Mustang was used a great deal. The first list is of 1965 Ford Mustang Coupιs:
