Jamie Slone signs as GoPro FR500S Driver in the Millercup Mustang Challenge.

PESCADERO, California – GoPro®, maker of the popular Motorsports HERO® quick release video camera, is proud to announce the signing of Jamie Slone as a factory driver for GoPro® in the inaugural Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Millercup.  GoPro® will be the primary Sponsor and Livery of the Sloneracing No. 6 GoPro® / GoProCamera.com, Molecule™ Ford Mustang FR500S.   

Slone is a front running contender for the championship and has the distinct honor of being the first driver to ever win a race in the new Ford Mustang FR500S at NASA’s Pot O’ Gold Rush at Road Atlanta this past March.

The 2008 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Millercup consists of 8 races, the first of which is taking place May 3rd, 2008, at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Ga.  The race will be run the same weekend as the Historic race series, The Mitty, along with the SCCA Pro Racing Playboy Mazda MX5-Cup.  Other race series the Millercup will run with this season are Grand Am’s Rolex Sports Car Series, Koni Challenge series and NASCAR’S Camping World East to name a few.  Discovery Channels HD Theatre Network, Turbo will be following the series and produce 3 one hour shows capturing the lifestyle of racers and the racing action.
