Renderings Of New Mach 1 Mustang

There's a new 5.0-liter V8 heading to the Mustang soon, and there has been speculation that such an event would be the perfect time for the return of the Mach 1 Mustang.  An enterprising gentleman by the name of Edmundo Cano has created some renderings of a new Mach 1 Mustang.

It should be noted that these renderings are in no way official from Ford, but are instead speculation.  However, they do adhere to many of the design principles from the original 1969 Mach 1 Mustang while elegantly adapting the current 2010 Mustang's styling.  We'll have to wait until the 2011 Mustang to find out if the speculation about a Mach 1 return is warranted.
