Together, the two cars drew more than US$792,000 (including the 10 per cent buyers premium). Shelby’s name was associated with two other Mustangs in the top five cars: a 1967 Shelby GT500 SE Super Snake Continuation Fastback sold for $330,000, while a 2007 Prudhomme Edition drew $302,500.
