There are contests, and then there are contests. Latemodel Restoration Supply has teamed up with Ford Racing to put a 2011 5.0L crate motor up for grabs, and the best part is, all you have to do is sign up.

Fordís fresh 5.0 is a marvel of techonology, and would be an amazing addition to any project youíre woking on. Mind you, the contest is for the engine alone and does not include electronics, fuel system, transmission, car -- you get the idea.

This giveaway started out on the back of a T-shirt promotion with Ford Racing, but it has become so much more. Here are the details:

Simply fill out this online form requesting basic contact information and you are entered. All names will be entered into a database, along with the people that submitted their Ford Racing T-shirt submissions, and one lucky winner will win a 2011 5.0L crate motor from Ford Racing.

Offer applies to U.S. 48 continental states only and ends Sept. 1, 2010. If you are submitting a Ford Racing T-Shirt claim form, they must be received by Ford Racing by Sept. 30, 2010. Offer is limited to one submission per household.

Once all T-shirt forms are submitted and verified by Ford Racing, Latemodel Restoration Supply will add those to the database from the free online form and choose one lucky winner for the 2011 5.0L crate motor. The winner will be announced Nov. 1.

The 2011 5.0L Crate motor will be delivered by Jan. 31, 2011, giving you the rest of the winter to shoehorn that baby into your pride and joy. Good luck!
