I would say a cold air inlet and perhaps a stout set of gears..

Do the cai and a bigger throttle body. I like the c&l intakes. Id look into those or bbk.

-04 Mustang GT-Intercooled Kenne bell 2.1L supercharged @10psi, bolt ons, 3:73 gears, big brake upgrade, some suspension, 315's rear.

-08 Corvette Z06-B&B exhaust, K&N filter.

-12 Tacoma Prerunner

Also, get a set of shorty headers and some pulleys, they will definitely help too. I also agree with the cold air intake. I am a big fan of MAC products,
The quality is excellent, their parts fit really well, and their stuff is reasonably
priced. The mac pulleys were dyno tested at 12 hp at the rear wheels, and if
I remember correctly the cold air intake is also about the same amount.
The headers depend upon equal length or unequals. Equals give a couple extra HP over unequals ( Anywhere from about 7-10 hp gain for the headers)
But the unequals are a few dollars cheaper, and a lot easier to put on.

1994 GT 5.0, 5 SPEED COUPE, BLACK EXTERIOR, BLACK/GRAY INT. 17x9 CHROME COBRA R's, STOCK 3.08'S, TIMING ADVANCED 12 degrees, BASSANI BX CATBACK, UPR OFFROAD X PIPE, FRPP 9 MM WIRES, NIPPONDENSO 5025'S, MSD CAP/ROTOR, MAC COLD AIR INTAKE, MAC UNDERDRIVE PULLEYS.

I have a C&L Performance 76mm MAF/CIA System and I like it a lot. Adds power and looks. It is not like a shot of NOS but every little bit helps. I think it is $299.00 I talked directly to C&L twice before I bought it and both times the guys there were very helpfull.

x2 on the C&L 76mm MAF/CAI kit. I also have it and I like it. You'll still have $700 left after that one so other mods you can do are:

1. MAC long tubes
2. MAC Prochamber midpipe
3. MAC cat-backs
4. ASP undedrive crank pulley with smog pump delete and shorter Gates K060868 belt

Keep the stock injectors until you do heads/cam/intake.

CAI, throttle body, larger MAS, headers, 1.7 rockers.

And the stock 19 pound injectors are good up to 325-330 hp so you don't need to switch those yet. 24's would be too much.

always loved my k&n CAI made the exhaust sound better and better throttle response, since it uses the stock rubber tube instead of a metal one like mac or bbk it will stay cool, unless ur a fan of getting air from the wheel well

With a few hundred dollars more you could buy a set of heads which would help tremendously.

My 95 GTS:
Suspension: Eibach springs, MM lower control arms, MM Panhard rod, MM caster camber plates, MM full length SFC and MM strut tower brace.
Engine: Full Exhaust, Vortech 73 MM mass air, 24 lb injectors, BBK 65 throttle body, TF intake, TF Twisted Wedge heads, TF Cam, Brothers 1.6 Rockers.
Driveline: King Cobra Clutch, 5.0 power tower, Auburn Pro w/ strange 31 spline axels, 3.73's, Nitto 555R's .
I have a 1986 SVO too!
