Question What size is this TB?

I have a question i just bought what i thought was a stock 65mm TB off a 94 cobra for my 95 GT, but both TB's have the same # F4ZE-HA...and i thought the stock TB on my GT was a 60mm. So whats the deal? Did i get screwed? I bought it to go with the cobra intake i put on, but did i just buy the same TB i already had on? Help?!

on 94 cobras they have a 60mm T/B just like all the GT's....same with 95.... the 93 cobra had a motorsports 65mm T/B though... im not trying to sound cocky here so don't take this the wrong way but... I got a 94 cobra, so i got a pretty good idea what comes on the cars....plus, here recently I ordered an "options list" from Ford Motor Company that tell what all the cobra "package" includes, and lastly I have an SVT registry book that states the same. But i think the car should come with a 65mm T/B though

But thats all just for future reference for you guys, neways it does sound like ya got screwed man!

Before you buy that throttlebody, ask yourself how far do you want to go. The reason I say this is alot of guys are switching to the fox body setup. Fox style throttle cable, throttle body and intake. This allows for larger then 65mm TBs to be used, increased airflow, cleaner engine compartment and room for larger valve covers for rocker stud girdles.

I would guess and put an estimate on say low 11s at least for this to start to have a positive effect. Even if you do plan on going faster it still may be fine for you to buy that 65mm then later convert to fox style but I guess that would depend on how fast you plan to get to those ETs.

I will be coming to that decision myself and I don't think I want to buy this stuff twice.

'95 Turbocharged stang.

Replacing the motor atm.
