Question 5.0L into 2000 V6 swap info needed

Hi

was hoping someone here could give me some info on swapping a 5.0L HO into my 2000 mustang (3.8L with 4R70W) first off do I need to use a SN95 style engine harness and EEC IV or can I use the older mustang harness (89-93), secondly when changing the fuel system to a return style, do I need a whole new tank, or can I just change the fuel pump and bracket? thirdly if I use a EEC IV from a 94-95 mustang gt that came with a AODE, will it control my 4R70W the same way or do I need a standalone transmission controller, fourthly will the new engine harness match up with my current dash harness and chassis harness or do I need to make changes there too, also will changing to the EEC IV mean I need to change my ignition system to a non PATS system, also will a V8 guage cluster from a 2003 cobra be able to work properly in conjunction with the EEC IV engine harness? if anyone knows a bit about any of these questions please let me know thanks sorry I know its alot of questions but those are the ones I couldnt seem to find info on

thanks again

if your dead set on putting a V8 into your car i would say your best would be to go with a newer 4.6L. the only problem is going to be with your 4r70w. it will only line up to the windsor blocks(3.8, 5.0, 5.8) you "could" get a 4r70w from a 4.6 GT, but thats gonna be more money down the drain. if money isnt an option, which it always seems to be, get a 99/01 cobra engine and harness, and mate it with a t-56 trans .

Wink

well there are 3 reasons why I wanted to use a 5.0L, first off I have a built 5.0L engine with a roots blower that I want to use, secondly because I wouldnt have to change transmissions cause 4R70W will use the same bellhousing pattern as the 5.0L, thirdly this motor swap is kind of temporary to tide me over till I am finished building my 6.8L V10 engine, that of course is gonna take a while and cost a fortune but the expense isnt totally lost as I would have to convert the car to a return style fuel system for that engine as well, I basically want to use as inexpensive parts as possible to make the car faster with what I already have
I have the following

5.0L engine with x303 cam and custom intake with roots supercharger, 69 302 heads long tube headers
90 Mustang EEC IV engine harness and A9P computer
flowtech catback exhaust for 95 mustang GT
flowtech h-pipe for long tube headers

I am willing to get SN95 wiring harnesses if need me to be compatable with the rest of the wiring in the car, and if the EEC from an automatic 94-95 mustang will control my current trans than I will buy one as well, just figured it would be good to go this route for now as it isnt the final combination for the car
