I thing what you are looking for is the Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) located inside right front fender. The CCRM also has EEC relay, cooling fan relalys, etc. The harness goes through the inner fender near or just behind the air filter housing. Need to remove RF tire and plastic fender to access. Black metal box approx 4x6 inches.

ccrm,

I thought that part was on the coolant resivoir. And does the ccrm also control the fuel relay. New fuel pump and all fuel parts other than relay. Every once in a while fuel pump wont come on when turning ignition

CCRM contains the fuel pump relay.

It is a big black plastic box mounted on the overflow reservoir.

Unfortunately, the link that I would normally direct you to that gives a step-by-step testing procedure is broken.

and it collects dust admirably while parked for repairs in the garage...

Sorry about the location I gave you I was thinking of the 4.6 and not the 5.0

Also too you have a switch in the trunk that needs to be pushed in the down position. Fuel pump will not work if the switch is poped up.

+ 1 to this. Inertia cut off or some such thing. But, given that your problem as you described it is intermittent, I doubt it is the issue. Wouldn't hurt to double-check just to be sure though...
