Thoughts about exactly what aspect of them? Personally, I think they're an okay casting (not great), but I believe the stock valvetrain components suck.

Of course, I have no first hand experience with them, so those are just my personal opinions, which I have based on what other people have stated. But, I have read many people say the same thing, and some are decently knowledgeable. Take it for what it's worth.

'94 Laser red 'vert. Still a 5-oh... for now

same exact castings as the performer/victor, some of the nicest made! the springs will need an upgrade for a hydraulic roller.

With the stock valve reliefs that head can accept a good sized cam and has 2.02 valves where an inline head you would run into trouble.

I have a friend of mine who laid down some really nice numbers with an old set of performer heads cleaned up and some bowl work. It was a total junkyard build as he slapped an old Crower cam, these heads, RPMII intake but he built the bottom end carefully and correctly. Runs like a rapped ape.

Might be worth a look.Read the whole ad as this is for complete heads not bare castings. You can always make the seller a offer and see what happens.
