1995 mustang ccrm problem?

So when I turn the key to to start there is no fuel pump prime.
The hi speed fan stays on as well with no key In so I have to keep the battery unplugged.

Sounds like the ccrm to me?
I was also wondering if you can delete it?

Pretty tough to delete the CCRM unless you want to go with a carbed setup...
there are a whole bunch of relays in there...

Headlights is probably a different issue - take the knob off and inspect it as they are known to have issue with heat and melting wires. But, the fact that the key isn't shutting it off would make me want to pull the column apart and take a gander at the wiring in there...

I highly doubt that the computer is the source of your issue...

and it collects dust admirably while parked for repairs in the garage...

Thanks!
Problem ended up being the ecu!
It was fried!!

Strange it made the taillights stay on!

So, the next question is, why was the ECU fried??? Unless you want to keep replacing it, I would try to figure out what caused it to burn up...

As questioned above.......I would make sure the ground supply to the ECU is intact and with good clean connections or more problems may re-occur.

Well at least you can be pretty confident that it was operator error as opposed to some mysterious electrical gremlin lurking about. Bad as it is that you and your friend were responsible for frying it, I still think that having a good idea of why it happened will let you rest earlier. Everyone makes mistakes - wisdom is acknowledging that and trying not to make the same one twice.
