With the price of gas ($3.42) and the MPG of the GT (15), the GT (wifes daily driver) is sitting in the shed. She instead has stayed with driving her winter beater, an '88 4 cyl Mustang hatchback (30+MPG). So, I am not sure how the gears have changed the shift points. On track we manually shift, or when we hit the straights after coming out of a corner we will just pop it into third and let the computer do the upshift. We have the throttle floored, and I am not really watching the tach. Wish I could be more helpful with the on-street performance, but either talk to the oil companies, or my employer.
