Question 1994 Mustang GT Which New Plugs and Wires are the Best?

Which are the best plugs and wires for my 94 gt auto? I was thinking NGK Iridium Ix Plugs and Accel Spark Plug Wire Set: 8mm Extreme 9000 Ferro-Spiral™. Is this good? anything better?

The Autolite 25 plugs will work out well for ya, cheap too.

LiveWires or Taylor wires are popular choices.

Any wire is good as long as they have sufficient RFI suppression and low ohms. Stay away from platinum plugs, go with copper. NGK's are really good.

Since my ignition is stock on my 95, I have found that Motorcraft platnum plugs and Motorcraft wires to work the best.

It can be made better, faster, stronger !!

When in doubt.........floor it !!

the best stuff: NGK iridiums(like u mentioned) and 9mm wires, i think LiveWires are the best out there, though i have ford racing 9mm ones and they are good too, i would also recomend upgrading the coil while you are working on the ignition, like MSD blaster(the one i have) accel... also make sure your cap and rotor is in good shape

New addition: 1986 GT t-tops 5.0L 5speed, intake, exhaust,9mm plug wires

1987 Mustang LX 5.0 5-speed,white with smoke grey interior,MAF conversion,Perfection clutch(valeo)2.5inch Ravin exhaust, subframe connectors, ported lower intake & heads=SOLD

Agree with the autolite # 25.....they are cheap and work well...the best wire...taylor thunderbolts...10.4mm. Also agree with going to an MSD coil.

347 stroker (build by Saum engineering)
Trick flow upper half (heads, cam, rockers, upper and lower intake)
200 hp nitrous (wet)
3:90 gears
G-Force T-5(Zoom clutch)
ETC...........

Why is it that 9mm ford racing and roush wire sets are so much less then accel $120 8 mm? Ford and roush are about $50.

Ford Motorcraft on both counts.

Taylor makes plug wires for Ford.

Jegs.com has Motorsport wires for a 94 GT for $39.98.
That's what I've got they work great too. I'm also a big believer
in Autolite 25's for our cars. They are a little cheaper than Motorcraft plugs, and work just as well. Also make sure you stick with copper spark plugs, they work best with our ignition systems.
