Hello everyone. I would just like to introduce myself. I have a 1986 Mercury Capri with a 2.3L and automatic. I got rid of all the electronics and the 1 barrel carburetor and am using a Duraspark/MSD ignition system. I am currently using a Motorcraft 5200 (Weber DFEV) carburetor from an 80 Capri on it but I plan on modifying the guts of a 77 Pinto Motorcraft 5200 and using that. My other vehicle is a 1988 Mustang LX 2.3L automatic. Pretty much stock other than I hollowed out the air intake silencer. The Ranger is my wife's. I am a member over at foureyedpride.com and also over at stangnet. If anyone needs 1979-1986 2.3L info, I'ave got tons of it!

I have 2 pictures in my album now. Both are fairly old and show my 2 cars before some of the modifications. The Capri now has turbocoupe wheels on it (16" "snowflake" alloys), 2.3 fender badges, 2 barrel carb, MSD/Duraspark ignition, and a Ranger roller cam. The Mustang basically looks the same except I got rid of the wire wheel covers and put turbine wheel covers on it and changed the taillights to the 83-86 type. I'm on dial-up so loading images takes a while. I'll get more up over time.
