why dont you just get some sportline lowering springs insted of airride.. i heard you get a bad like wavy ride when you go with an air suspension

i don't know, but it would be cool to be able to raise and lower my ride without the hydrolick stuff. My friends have enough of a problem when they get in my car cause they are big guys and the door gets stuck on the side walk, and the car drops. i want to get a whole new suspension kit but don't have the money. hardly got it for gas.

NO if you go with air ride technologies theyre setups are for performance. The only time air ride gives a "wavy" ride as you put it is on lifted trucks and Transit busses. Best place to put a small tank/compressor or hell a battery if your removing it from the hood for racing or whatever is to place either item where your spare would go, im thinking its deep enough. but I havent tried to see if a battery would stick up far enough a mat wouldnt fit flush.

I saw an episode of HorsePower TV that had them convert a Camero to airbag and it handled 200% better. You can also set up the suspension for different ride styles.

Also, if you want to lower the car some, and have a good progressive rate spring (which is what you want), H&R Sport springs are the way to go.

i've been looking at air ride too and i read a mag where the put it in a 95 mustang and hit handled much better. id defintaly get that, being able to raise and lower is a great advantage, and really for racing, or for showboating i can lower the front and raise the back, sound cool to me. id do it.

Plus most bag designs are based on McPherson struts anyway.

I hear that air ride gives a very comfortable drive, just pray you don't get a hole in the air bags when you're far from home, had a buddy ride in a mid 90s camaro with an air ride suspension going on a roadtrip and on the way home somehow got a hole in one of the bags, not too comfy then when that happens.

Thay are what your front suspension on a Fox Chassis is(modified actually). The rear shock on a dual suspension moutain bike is usually a McPherson(non-modified).
