Default 1992 mustang 2.3l swap to 350 engine

Ok I was wondering if I could put a 350 engine in my 1992 Mustang 2.3l. And if I can what do I need to do. If you got any advice please tell.

You need to either buy a new k member or mod the one you have in there.

Do a search on ls1tech (ls1 forums) and you'll find 3-5 build threads, or on mustang forums I posted in the 5.0 section a whole bunch of links

not to try to change direction on this but im sure a 351 would be about equal power and i think It would also be easier.

true, but you'll still need modifications either way...

dont throw a bowtie engine in the car go with teh blue oval!
this would be alot of work, i mean anything can be done, 4.6stangrage is right though it is a lot less of a headache to stuff under the hood and plenty of power to leave your bowtied 350 in the dust haha, either way though dude anything can be done as long as you have the time and effort! good luck to ya!

My neighbor has a Chevy 421 small block stroker and a Powerglide tranny, nitrous, and he runs 9's. He has an engine front plate to not only bolt the engine to but that also solved the k member issue. A custom crossmember and driveshaft and he's rolling so it isn't that hard to do. I just say put a Ford engine into a Ford car, no Frankenstein cars for me but if that's what you want to do, go for it.

If you put a 460 in a fox body mustang the things is not going to handle at all. Chevy small blocks are light and cheaper.
