I've gone to almost every major parts store and even some locally owned places. As I've previosly posted my C3 is slipping from 2nd to 3rd. I just haven't had the time to work on it. But there is one thing I want to try before getting it rebuilt. I want to adjust the band and to do so I need to replace the outside lock nut. (thats what my chilton manual calls it). No one carries it...they carry the band but not the nut!! Crazy huh? Can someone please direct me to a site that would carry it. I figured this could be a cheap fix or even a temorary one until this summer.
