Default body damage, how to fix?

so i got side swiped, and my rear right fender is dented. for a while i couldnt get my gas-cap open, but i managed to bend parts so it works now.

but anyway that was backgound,

how can u do body work on this car, its a unibody, theres no panels!!!! and theres crap everywhere around where i got dents!!!

they arnt major, they just piss me off cause its yet another set back in getting the car painted.

As you may have guessed- I'm a young gun with dreams of pimpin' my baby 2.3n/a into a fire-breathin Shadow Runner.
so far:
1987 hatchback mustang
2.3L, replaced to a '89
Air silencer removed
t-5 all the way
1400 watt sound system w/ twin 12" chrome subs
-The shadow runner was a legendary chinese horse that could outrun its own shadow[/size]

Of course it has panels. They're just welded together- AKA unibody. There isn't really much difference.
However, if you got hit, why can't insurance cover the damage? Let the body shop take care of it. You might even be able to get them to get the car just to the point it's ready to paint, and put the difference toward your new paint job. Look at it as a blessing in disguise.

I would highly recommend that you let the body shop do the repairs. The body parts will be rather expensive because the parts are getting harder to find. But just my .02

I had a similar thing happen to me. I agree just take it to the body shop. I took mine to a body shop that my grandpa is friends with the owner. It took about 4 days for him to get mine done. but he did a nice job. before and after pics.
