I am thinking about putting a 460 in my car. my friend said he would sell me one for $400. Does anyone know if it will fit in my car. he said it would be a tight fit.

I've heard of it done before without having to extend the chassie but you'd probabley need a cowl hood

Wow you guys are really lucky! I can't find a good deal anywhere on any parts. Everything thing here in Indiana is expensive people don't want to let go what they have.

Yeah It will fit! Fox body stangs will hold ANY Ford Gasoline motors. Thats what my grandpa told me and he has owned like 10 of them and 2 had 460's in them.

Lucky I wish I lived farther south. Then I would be more in the Bible Belt. I'm barely in it right now.
