You better believe it! If your going to put a v8 in it I would go with a small block. Like a 302.. you would get about 21 mpg in the city. But if that isn't enough power for you then put a 351 in there.

I was going to put a 5.8 351 in mine. But I'm proud of my 2.3 so I am going to do upgrades to it. Maybe even a twin turbo LOL.. Supercharger.. New heads that are DOHC.. You know the works.. LOL!!!

Ya 1979 was the first year of the fox body. Found a 2.3T thinderbird 4 1500 no work needed . Wonder if he'll take a 2.3 fox in trade

found another one serouisly considering it! A 1995 t bird with the 4.6 for 800! Too bad it has 147,000 on it. Even has a taction lock
