Default Cheap 2.3 horse power?
im looking for cheap ways to get horse power out of my 2.3. i have a header on it what else can i do that is relatively cheap? Any help would be GREAT!

Heya TN! You can start by removing the air silencer. Cost is nothing and the HP gain is impressive. Also with the headers, your mileage should improve..........but only if you keep your foot out of it....HA!

go to a junkyard and find some parts from the turbocoupe tbirds, its the same 2.3 with a turbo and junk

As of now: 97 gt, 373's, k&n cai, FR aluminum drive shaft, borla exhaust, pi heads, spec clutch, 5.0 short shifter, steeda ss long tubes, steeda H pipe, Dynotune nitrous 75 shot, granatelli fuego tuner

soon to come:comp camps, better suspension

Coming last:
New motor stroker 4.6 lots of spray

Getting an SVO/TC head from the junkyard would be a great start. That will help pave the way for bigger upgrades down the road.
