I have a 1991 2.3 L 4 cylinder with fuel injection, I want to change the intake manifold to mount a carburetor for dirt racing; they will not allow fuel injection. Can this be done and if so what info can you give, Thanks for any help given

i know that it can be done but not how there is another thread in the tech section on it its a few weeks old so its not on the first page.

Ok some new info. A 1983 and 84 Ford Ranger, Tempo and Topaz has a carburetor that will fit a 91 Mustang and 1974-79 Pinto and Mustang 2 will fit

it'll work just swap manifolds and what not (removing air box/filter, throttle body, and anyother fuel injects do-das) im getting ready to do it now actually.
