Default Adjusting Steering Wheel - SVO

Hey guys,

Just got my SVO back from the shop. I noticed it is uncomfortable to sit in due to my mechanic changing the seating settings around. So I adjust the seat so I can reach the pedals like normal. Still, I'm too far away to hit the floor with the clutch (steering wheel is in the way). There is a black knob to the right of my steering wheel so I adjust it's tilt and so it doesn't hit my legs anymore, then I can scoot in.

Still, something is wrong, Doesn't feel right. Any other adjustments I can make? I've only owned the car for a few months, not very familiar with all the controls. Have learned a few things by chance or luck. Doesn't look like my whole wheel itself is centered either, it leans a bit more to the right. I'd like to adjust everything so I can drive comfortably.

Anyone know where/what these controls are for adjustment of the wheel?

Also, on the side now, anyone know how to turn the map light on?

Thanks!!!

To adjust the steering wheel back to center, you need to remove the shaft from the rack and rotate it a spline or so. To accomplish this, you will need to undo the rag joint. Good time to replace it. HELP makes a kit for it. Given this, is the front end aligned correctly?

As for the map light, it should turn on when it is lowered.

I can't speak for other Fox bodies, but the SVO has the ability to be raised and lowered via the button on the column.
