I plan to take this motor and turbo it, use almost all upgraded internals, and get complete new suspension. The price tag on it comes to a really rough estimate of 3k just for the mechanical, includes 5 speed manual tranny. Interior isn't the worst, new head liner, needs paint and a few dents pulled along with a turning signal cover and a tail ligh. so all together to make it look nice, real nice I think its gonna be about 4.5k. Worth it? it would take a few years, but this is something I've wanted to do. How many people out there have done something like this and gotten something well worth it out of it.

hp goal is just under or over 300.

im not gonna say thats not possible, I would look at doing some whight reduction, most 4cyls. @ the dirt track are ford 2.3, fast lil car n/a with the right setup.. I have seen a few run with stock 8's!! belive it or not, tou can get chevy 350 pistons in there with some bore work,cam,. killer comp. (n/a) and get over 200 hp, thats what they do at the track..but, there is a 2.3 svo 3 miles from my house for sale for 3600.. ya need that one.. huge head start..I would look for a salvageable svo for all my parts
