1989 Mustang LX 2.3, Replacing the passenger side front fender

Hey everyone,

I have a 1989 2.3L convertible mustang, the passenger side front fender is banged up and rusted. I found the right fender but how easy is it to install. can it be dont by a do-it your selfer. or do u need a body man to do it..

It is fairly basic bolt on,you should be able to do it with no problem.

so i can do it my self and dont have to go to a shop?

Hi,

The fenders are easy to install. I just changed my drivers side one last night. You might have to loosen the front bumper to get the fender off thought.

I was replacing my front bumper anyhow.

It will probably take you about an hour to take the bumper fully off and the fender too if you go that route.

You will beed a 6' socket extension to get the bolt off the fender thats viewed from inside of your car.

yeah to get it on you should be able to do it, but to get it straight, it will be a little tougher.. but still possible..
