Default How to change a Distributor Rotor
Hey everyone,

I have a 1989 2.3L convertible mustang.. i was wondering how easy it is to replace the distributor rotor, i know the distributor cap is easy to replace but is the rotor?

Yes,the rotor just slides off.You will see how it fits when you take it off.

Changing the distributor rotor is VERY VERY easy. As mentioned, just put the new one on the way the old one was. You should be able to install a CAI as well but stay away from the autozone trash, you'll get nothing but a check engine light.
