I have a 1993 hatchback and i have a crossfire VR401 400W amp.
I was thinking of putting it in the hatch above the spare tire mounted to the board over it so that its in the hatch but not taking up space back there my question is: Do you think it will get too hot there?
you should be like the rest of the u.s. and put it on the back of the box.. thats what i did, i wanted it behind the rear seat, but it went on the box..
ok 1 i dont have the box yet i cant find one i like
2 wen i do its a compresion sub so it only needs .5-1 cubic ft and thats too small for the amp to go on
3 the boxes that i hae found for it have the cable connections on the back in the middle
soo.... yeah

It doesn't have to be for a coupe. You could make it work for a hatch. You could make like a big box/cover thing, that you could sorta cut a whole in for the sub, and mount the amp on. Just be a little creative.
