Default What's this hose called? help!

I need a hose for my '90 2.3L both badly and quickly. I looked at napa's website and didn't see it. What is it called? It's the one that goes from the top of the valve cover, behind the oil cap, to the throttle body. It's a smaller hose. It's spilling oil out the bottom of it on top of the valve cover, leaving a burnt oil smell and obviously it's making me lose some oil kinda quick. I could only find the radiator hoses on napa's website. Please help stangers!

Not sure if this is the technical name for it but what you decribed sounds like the breather tube if it is blowing oil out i would also check the pcv valve could be the reason for it

Do you mean that the PCV valve is clogged or it's broke? If it's clogged, would seafoaming the car clean the pcv valve out? I know where the PCV valve is, but why right there under the plenum? And why would it be leaking out the bottom of the hose onto the valve cover? I did put a hoseclamp on the bottom of that hose but it didn't do anything to help. Thanks a bunch!

rule of thumb is if the valve rattles when you take it out it is good. if it is plugged it will push the pressure out where is can usually causing leaks. probably good idea to replace it any way. If you go to you local ford dealership tell them what hose you need and a pcv valve probably fix you problem. Would also be cheeper than ordering the wrong part from somewere else. hope this helps

Might as well replace both the pcv valve and hose then. Could I take the valve off without taking the plenum off, since it goes in the bottom of the plenum there? If I have to I'll do it but if I don't, great, less work.
