Default high pressure power steering hose

well my high pressure ps hose decided to break off at the pump. The bolt that attaches the hose on is still on the pump but the metal part of the hose came out. I was at the store when it broke so I had to drive home with no ps. I'm going to go get the hose and replace it but my question is do you think I might have to replace anything else since I had to drive home without ps (like any seals) or do you think it damaged the pump? or should I be good just replacing the hose
thanks

I would go ahead and just replace the hose and see, hopefully all will be fine.

Angry

well I got the part and a new belt as well since I noticed It had wear on it. So I started to take off the belt and as soon as I put pressure on the belt tensioner the whole alternator moved.....Wtf .... I noticed the alternator bracket craked right after where it bolts the alternator. So now I have to wait on the bracket to come in (luckily someone had a used one on ebay for cheap) and not drive until the part comes in. Maybe the ps hose came off because of this. It just sucks since ive gotta wait longer to fix it and wont be able to drive it for a few days. The only positive thing Ive learned is not to put ps fluid in and use ATF type F instead. lol

I replaced the hoses, put fluid in, and turned the steering wheel 10 times to each side to get out the oxygen a few weeks ago but now my pump is really loud. Is there any way to fix this?
