Every car, every transmission, and every clutch are different; but you get used to it after awhile.
I've driven DOZENS of different stickshift vehicles over the years, and I eventually got to the point where I almost never stall one.
There are some cars (4.0L Jeep Wranglers and early Saturns) that make driving a manual transmission so easy and so enjoyable; and there are others (4.2L F150s and Mazda RX8s) that make you wish you'd stuck with an automatic at first; but even those will eventually be mastered with time and practice.
Just keep after it, learn from your mistakes (loud buzzes, whines, and crunches are BAD! lol) and eventually you'll get it down, until the next car you try to drive with one.... then you'll have to learn what it drives like.
