after a few test run's on a old road with the new fuel pump I really noticed a big affect the fuel pump has made. It not only stoped the stuttering it also made a huge improvment on throttle response. It definatly made the car get up and go way faster, than it has ever been before. Not it also did no starve for gas going up hill's either. There was a good feeling of the amount of power the car had. I know there wasn't a lot of power, but there was more than before.
If anyone is looking for some extra power and not looking to spend alot of money I would definatly recomend doing a 5.0l fuel pump swap. I only took me a week of working on it for probably 40 minute's each night and I really didn't have to do much work. There are a total of 9 bolt's that have to be removed and 2 fuel line's and 1 breather line also 1 wire harness and 1 filler neck that have to be removed. It's really easy and I got my fuel pump for free!

Mine is a 95 Lph( Liters per hour) fuel pump out of a 1990 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 5speed.
- I am getting a 3" PVC Pipe probably tuesday. I am going to make a custom intake that goes into the fender. Then I have a ram air kit that I am going to mount under the bumper and I am going to run a 3" flex pipe up to the cone filter.
After that I will have done
- Cold air intake
- Exaust
- fuel pump
- weight reduction
then after that I will only have to do
- Ignition coil
- 65mm throttle body or 75mm throttle body
- header off ford ranger
and some other stuff, not really sure how far I want to go on the engine but I do want to do all the body work and suspension.
