Default I just got a junky 2.3l lx and i want to turbo it

hello everyone, i just found this site and i'm interested in making my new (to me) 1992 mustang lx 2.3 into a turbo.

the body is in poor shape with rust and three different colors

the engine most likely will need some work. The computer doesnt register on a diagnostic machine.

I dont know much about transmition

I dont know much at all about cars other than they go when you put your foot on this pedal and stop when you put it on that pedal.

i'm not really interested in the body, more the engine and other stuff so it will be reliable for a while.

my friend told me i should try to make it into a speedy demon so i'm looking into options.

i bought it for 500 dolars and it hast 136k miles on it.

i want to turbo it and from what i read i should put a new engine in it? i dont know. i pretty much need someone to hold my hand and guide me through what i need to do to make this car run great and fast.
