I sold my '86 SVO 4 years ago I'm still bummed over that sale! I had to get a 2003 Cobra to get over it......Still wish I had kept that car. My wife rode in both the SVO and the Cobra, her opinion is that the Cobra is a fun car. Me I love 'em both...........

I also have an SVO. It's a black (paint code 1C) early 84 with slapper bars. Bought it last year for $1900.00. I had wanted one of these cars since I saw one in 1984. Best car Ford made in the 80's or 90's. Love my SVO!

Sweet deal man! you practically STOLE IT!

If you get the chance, you might want to post some pictures of that car in your gallery, let everybody else see it.

does anyone know the different turbo setups for the SVOs and what years they came in, particularly boost levels?

lol. I think I know who you are and where the turbo is being rebuilt. I read a thread about it on SVOCA. If so, I had the same problem for 8 MONTHS! Won't do business w/ them again.

Well the guy ended up sending us a a brand new turbo. Different then the other one he had sent before. So hopefully it will work out ok. I miss driving the mustang. I'm not sure if I'd be able to fit behind the steering wheel now with my pregnant belly.:o Oh,well guess I'll have to wait till the little one gets here. That is if I can't fit now.

I'm on my second SVO. My first was an '86 Black, cloth interior with 39k miles when I got it. My current car is a white '85 1/2 cloth interior sunroof restored almost a year ago. I've been tossing around the idea of selling it since it's all done (I'm bored now) and I hardly drive it but every time I take it out I change my mind. They are such easy cars to work on and modify (mine makes over 300hp, dynoed). Just wish I could drive it more often
