Default Engine Swap for my Fox Body

Anyone have any opinion on what engine i should use for a swap for my 2.3. I was thinking a 5.0 but i was wondering if a 4.6 cobra engine would be a better engine. Any input would be helpful. thanks.

The 4.6 Cobra engine would be an awesome upgrade for your fox. But keep in mind all the front end work you will have to do to make it fit and work right. You can't beat the old school 5.0 though... Modular motors are great, but i strongly prefer the pushrod internal cam V-8s, but that's just me. Best of luck with whatever you choose.

I was also wondering this today actually....what would be the advantages of a 4.6 compared to the 5.0....also what changes would you have to make? Engine compartment work, drivetrain....what more would you have to do?
