Question 88 convert

hi
im only 16 and on my second car, but both are fords. the first was an 1987 ford taurus which i traded for an 88' mustang convertible which only needed a windshield and a battery. (battery was orginal) the taurus needed more. is there anything i should know about my car to be aware of.

What are you trying to find out sis?

Problems?

Recalls?

Fuel Economy?

Performance?

Production figures?

Convertible top care? (which would be a question better asked here: http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...?s=&forumid=27 )

Which??? (any or all, or even others I didn't mention)

1976 Ford Mustang II Ghia: 302 with a 600cfm Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock Performer 289 intake, Dynomax Blackjack headers, 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster Super 44s. RJS 11-gallon fuel cell, C4 tranny, chrome 16" pony wheels, fuzzy dice, brown vinyl half-top, and painted in the tackiest color ever (harvest gold, that's why I call it "The Goldenrod").

Also have a 2003 Dodge Ram (lightly modded daily driver/tow rig/office/dining room/home away from home/workshop... I call it "The Big Blue Dawg".)

Found the following recalls on 1988 Mustangs with the 2.3 Liter engine:

Alldata.com does not, however, list a recall on a 1984 Matthew Huber.

only one problem matt remember mine has a ranger engine not a mustang engine (will that info still work?)

The Ranger engine is the same except for 94 on I believe they converted to a dual pulg head and coil pacs DIS(no distributor).
