Default spudders and dies

my car has been running fine untill i went to an old gas station and ever since i got gas from there the car will spudder and then die out on me. and sometimes when trying to start it it wont turn over so ill hold the egnition and tap the gas and then it ll spike up to the 5k rpm then when i let go of the egnition it will die out on me
could it be crappy gas?

Well, play the odds you with a funny tank of gas may or may not be the problem.
I think you have spark, being it starts up fine. I'd hate to see you slam that car in gear just to keep it going, so, who knows, might be a fuel pump pressure problem all of a sudden or back to bad gas. I'd mix some fresh and try draining that tank with a Sunday drive is OK, try tomorrow and keep fresh stuff in it. Try a good injector cleaner like Chevron. Stop there, see if they sell a can and read the label.

well as soon as i filled the tank up it spuddered out of the gas station, and dunno if this plays in effect but when i loosen the gas cap off it makes a loud hiss releasing the pressure

You would have to be pushing that car in, out of gas, and now that is the gas in question. So for you to roll out of the station, the event happens, is you see what I am trying to point out is, coincidence is maybe now it is the car, not the gas.

For it to stall, it sounds like say if I knew the car better, It may be something to do with the initial sensor that recognizes starting or something? Before I was booted off another Mustang site, I had a back and forth with someone about a VATT or some part of the computer that recognizes start up or idle. I was more on that line of thinking, rather than the gas as the last known time the car was running well.

So, have you kept the same gas in it or have you gone through a few tanks and it is still there?
