Exclamation 1993 mustang 2.3l Suddenly stalls!!!

Ive had my 93 mustang 2.3l LX Hatchback for 2 years now...its got 120,000 miles on it and its an automatic. Ive changed alot on in and not im getting stall outs suddenly without warning...Usually it happened once or twice a month but its getting worse. Last week i took a long trip driving about 70 and the way there was fine but the way back i stalled out 4 times about a mile apart untill i got onto a different road and lowered my speed from 70 to 55, but its happened going 25 as well...ive talked to many mechanics and they have told me many things from in intrtia switch that might be shutting down the pump to my last mechanic that said there is debree in my gas tank and its causing it....Please someone help...Im starting a new school in 2 weeks and have a 2 hr commute everyday. When it stalls and i try to start it sometimes it wont start for a couple min and i dont seem to hear the fuel pump. I was trying to change the fuel pump relay but my mechanic said my car does not have one.....what should i start with...Ive changed the filter and put a fuel cleaner in my car but it happened again today...Please, anything will help...Asap

the only things i can think of are your crank sensor fuel pump or your mass air flow sensor

when u say stall do u mean the car is dying randomly? if so the same thing has been happening to mine... thought it was the crank sensor but it turned out the water pump was leaking onto the sensor. so id check your water pump. we are trying to get by with just a new pump and we cleaned off the sensor as much as we could at the time. it fixed it mostly but the crank sensor still needs to be either cleaned a bit better or completely replaced.

Have you had the codes run on it. Most autoparts can read them.

Default 2.3 stalling out

I think I've got your solution. If your problem started when the weather got cold you probably have the same problem as me. I just replaced the Mass Airflow sensor and it's been running great since.

Well i have changes the water pump myself but ill check that....the reply about the bad mas air sensor....when it stalled out going 70 on the parkway they cruise control was on and the car lost throttle.....it dropped to 2000 rpms and i was pressing the throttle and the car had no acceleration and it sounded very bogged down and finally stalled after 20 seconds...is that what i should try....im just trying to save money...college is costing me 5000 a semester and im not taking out any loans

could be the ecm relay, it's kinda hard to get at, it's above the ecm in the r/f kick panel. alot of 4 cylinders didn't come with the bulbs installed in the cluster for the " check engine"( malfunction indicator light-MIL) so during the bulb test see if the light comes on. the car should have recorded a code. another way of checking to see if the ecm has turned on is the "mil" light. if you know the bulb works, and the car won't start, if the MIL light is not on the ecm is not on. easiest way to start troubleshooting.

sorry i'm an idiot, the ecm relay is in the constant control module under the hood. 87 to 90 is in the car. if your check engine light is on the ecm is on.can you hear the fuel pump?
